The answer is not a simple one because there are no points on the body that will magically melt the fat (although I really wish there were!). Acupuncture’s role in weight-loss is crucial yet simple.

2- Appetite control; controls cravings such as sugar or salt.
3- Normalizes appetite so you are not binge eating.
4- Increases energy (to exercise).
5- Decreases stress.
6- Hormone balance (very crucial yet highly overlooked).
Weight-loss is a slow process but with big gains. The ‘quick fixes’ will never give you the desired sustained long-term results you are looking for. Consistency is the key to weight-loss. If you are not consistent with exercise and changing your dietary habits, then disappointment is eminent. Another virtue essential is patience. Make it a permanent change in your lifestyle. If you have been struggling with it for many years then change your approach to it and the results will fall into place. And ENJOY the process, don’t look for results every day or even in the first few months.
